Can you give me an example of a particular question you have? I admit I am slightly confused here but I am in dire need of some caffeine. There isn't any "technical manual" to start a thread, post in a thread or respond but if you wish to know a specific technical question like maybe, how do I quote another member's post or something along those lines I can perhaps help or turn you toward the right individual to help you.

Bethesda has always been notoriously tight-lipped about stuff. So I'm not surprised they aren't giving up all the goods right now. I'm signing up for the Beta. That won't answer the mod question maybe but it will let me see some actual stuff that I will be more easy to comment about. If Beth stops making games I like and think are good then I won't buy them anymore. No need to throw good money after bad. But I won't know until I know, and neither will anyone else.

Especially considering "We love mods, so we are 100% committed to doing that for 76 as well." which I my self am very interested in seeing how they manage this when basically all content is (in all likely hood) handled server side. Still it's good to see them address what even they admit is what gives their games the lifespan that they have. They didn't talk about it at E3 when Fallout came out either, I don't think. Lots of online and multiplayer games have had mods. Maybe not to the extent we have in the single-player games but they have them. But really, why all the couch burnings when we just don't have that much information?

Todd also talked about people not wanting all their crap being destroyed and though I don't think you can maybe 100% prevent that kind of thing (on a non-priv server anyway) that they wanted for people to play and not have everything destroyed but still have a sense of danger in the world. So they know how much people can be buttholes and are hopefully planning for it. I'm gonna try to do the beta. Besides I'll be one of the few people that knows their way around the map! lol

I swear you all make it sound like they will never make a freely moddable game again. While I DON'T thing there will be significant modding on Fallout 76 it doesn't mean it is the death kneel of modding. It doesn't mean there won't be some limited modding or creation club type stuff. I don't know. They haven't said anything about it that I have seen yet. Curiously, do you all know Todd Howard or Pete Hines or anyone that works on these games? Maybe they have egos, maybe they don't. Likely there are hundreds of people that work on Beth games that give it their heart and soul and likely much blood, sweat, tears...heck maybe it hurts their familial relationships at times. I don't know and you all probably don't either. But to just flip the table and say everyone is greedy bastards is unfair and probably untrue. As much as I wanted to see more than a 30 sec TES6 plug I didn't go running into the streets naked crying the end is nigh. There is nothing wrong with a game company expanding into other areas. After all companies are made to make someone money. Its what they do. You don't make money if you do the exact same thing every time. So some of you won't like this game, some will. Some will think its awesome, some will complain it isn't Elder Scrolls Hammerfell. But come on people...get y'alls panties out of a bunch and just wait and see. Since I am from WV I was excited about seeing it in a game.

The blocking is only as good as the categories or tagging of the mods. So if a mod isn't under translations or has not been tagged appropriately then you won't necessarily be able to filter it out. That may be your issue. There are probably many mods that are being filtered out, but some aren't.

No one has offered a "counter" argument because there is no argument to be had. There are rules, Robin makes then, he instructs us (the moderators) on what he expects, how he expects it and when he expects it. If you want to argue with Dark0ne about how he runs his site feel free to contact him directly. But if you expect anything to change about how we handle the debates section moderation I'd say your are barking up the wrong tree. The only change I think we would ever be likely to see is Dark0ne finally deciding to rid himself of this section all together. So, no, no one has address anything "specific" you said because either it is completely not applicable to this private website located in the UK or that Robin has decided how to run this, well, since before I came here over ten years ago. Just because they make a non-moddable game (especially if it is multi-player) does not mean everything in the future will go that way. They know they have a huge, single-player fan base. But this is a possible untapped market for them. But please, continue to speculate and toss some gasoline on that fire. :laugh:

Some of the body replacers have nude and non-nude options. I am pretty sure Roberts Male and Female have that option. There is probably a version of the HGEC body that has undies also but you may have to read descriptions for the different mods to know. I haven't played Oblivion in a long while so I don't know off the top of my head but I am sure there are some available with a bit of searching. Someone else might come by to give you more specifics. Lots of these type mods have been taken down over the years. Even if you "buy" them they have a limited way you can use them. Typically they are for personal use and the terms when buying them should tell you these things. DAZ, Poser all those you listed come with pretty limited use. However you can do whatever you want in your own game. We don't care but if you aren't by the rules able to upload this then you cant ask questions about that specific, you should not put it on the image share, etc. Now let's just assume for a moment that they mesh is ok to use however you want. First of all you have to be sure the meshes you wish to buy are not a stolen asset. Did the person make these from scratch or did they port a mesh from somewhere like another game, etc. (A great deal of things out there use ported/ripped meshes.) It is your responsibility to make sure these are ok. Next you check the permissions of use when you buy it. As I said these are not typically things you can use outside of personal use. Most of the time it is more like a rental than a buy, but I digress. Personally, I haven't seen any that got ported from these 3D sites that are able to be used here. You have to have specific permission (If it doesn't list any permission saying you can use this in any way you want, or in other games then the default is NO.) I wouldn't do it but if you are determined I suggest you show specifically what you are want to use, where ti comes from (link) and any terms, conditions,etc that come with it. Show it to a moderator (In a PM please not here) and we can better tell you if you can upload it here or not.

With some notable exceptions (religion, topics about abortion, etc) that we shut down immediately due to what Pickysaurus said (the ToS parts quoted) we don't shut down for content alone. We even realize that certain debate topics get hot and heavy but when the post don't turn into a huge flame war or really bad personal attacks we will often let it play itself out in this forum. Just because staff may or may not agree on the debate at hand doesn't get it shut down. We don't try to keep people from having their opinions in the debate section. And only a select few moderators post in this section. My rule is if I have to moderate something in a debate topic (which I had participated in) then I don't post in it after that. But that isn't a rule, that is just how I like to do it. Regardless, as Picky said there are rules on this site and we have all been here a long time and can recognize when something will be going south. I've been here over ten years and I have seen just about everything come down the pike in this forum. I'm not sure how it is cowardly and pointless to close content for the reasons stated above (and that even you acknowledge yourself) and as was said, Dark0ne runs this site, it is based in Britain and is a private site. The site has rules that everyone agrees to (and really should read) and we all attempt to apply those rules fairly and consistently in all forums. However at the end of the day, Dark0ne gets the last word on what he wants on his site. Honestly the idea of this forum getting shut down completely has been tossed around a few times over the years and I am somewhat surprised it has never happened. I really don't want that to ever happen as I have found some interesting things here over the years.

And you have Bolton who wants to first strike or regime change in NK and that doesn't help. NK has wanted to have a place on the world stage for 3 generations now. They aren't going to change their positions. They have only to gain if Trump goes talks to them. Trump doesn't do diplomacy, he doesn't know how and they have gutted the diplomatic force the US has build. There isn't anyone to advise Trump even if he would listen.
