  1. re post #14 well said, and thanks for the recollecting of that poignant scene with G5-19 and CVRIE. yeah, it's like a robo-version of 'organ donation';
  2. excellent work, ToroMontana, I look forward to seeing this materialize as the lack of Ron Perlman Title Credits is noticeable. and this will sound better than
  3. The Poseidon Energy Depot, <--- those massive domes underwater off-shore? and Institute, the massive vats near the reactor block. are where the Coolant is made. Some Red Rockets are 'sub-stations', and are able to make a modest amount on-site. Mass Fusion also had sites to dispose of the used coolant
  4. Unmodded FO4 is rather "linear", as a lot of the nCr worth of dialogue branches were incomplete, a lot of content was cut, etc. The Railroad though; they're not a homogenous united front.
  5. re post#1 great questions RE who unfreezes the Sole Survivor; a) it is an automated process which is set in motion from when Kellogg first abducts Shaun, 'superdeterministically' etc. b) the institute hacks in and causes a thawing. c) fanon - V111 and V112 have a lot more in common. so, the institute negotiates with Stanislaus Braun for the Sole's Return... d) it was some other stochastic event which Father claims credit for
  6. @dieFeM, SKK50 thanks muchly for stopping by this thread, and, more importantly thanks for making ranged asymmetric blasting in FO4 much more fun.
  7. I recommend checking out SKK50 (for some long-shot how-to's and friendly competition?)
  8. using stuff like OCDecor and placeanywhere, you can achieve a lot of looks for posters and museum displays.
  9. there are a few. AnyDoorToAnyWhere, Placeable elevators, basement living, the underboston etc.
  10. great question/s, kartoflator.
  11. re post#1; "this will send a message" is a cliche, a trope, a euphemism. Perhaps one the Gunners are fond of? so, when Maccready says it 'back at them', it's maccready balking at 'unjust hits'.
  12. I thoroughly recommend "Red Rocket Player Homes". you can selectively download only couplets, or the whole set. If you're looking for smaller and more random placement, "Live-in Trailers" adds liveable trailers which are rad-insulated around the map. you can select from Raider, BoS or Institute styles, perfect for shelters from Rad-Storms if you have Survival Weather Mods etc. download some of them, or the whole set, mix-n-match as you go, it's great. Finally,
  13. how goes this awesome project, Jintezaku? I'm impressed at your ergonomics at your approach.
  14. it could have been, they 'just wanted to get that over and done with' if they had some mission etc. it's when they don't have a wanted/bounty, and they grief, they try to bait you into a 'flame war' etc. that's been pretty rare thus far though I gotta say- I was expecting a lot more PvP griefers than what has emerged.
  15. neat! that looks fantastic, I look forward to using that when its complete. drooling aside;
  16. Aha, thanks for the tip-off, Shen. it appears to have been consolidated into a "Rave Glasses Mod". perfect for some decor at Goodneighbor or at Sunshine Tidings.
  17. neato! thanks for sharing QuadroTony, and Thanks, Awesomeness of Modders! this could be very useful, as an additional way to communicate in-game.
  18. Hi there; I know the author of Curtain-walls, Clothes Lines, Tents, and Tent-doors made a 'bead curtain door", it was great as, it snapped to doorways, or to the wall-panelling, and would move with the root-node if attached to a moving elevator etc. but I cannot for the life of me find it again, even via archival. Does anyone know of any other 'bead curtain' door replacer mods? Thanks in advance.
  19. re Post#1, short answer is: "No." so, that was a "Negative Player Interaction". it appears to be an instance of "Pre-Emptive Anti-Griefer Countermeasure --- 'sledging/guilt-trip". also known as "Aesop's Sour Grapes". Cue Dr Evil "Pre-Emptive Shh" meme...
  20. RE Post #1; the perennial festive season may already be upon us, Raytd. awesome idea you've happened upon, Raytd. "Wisdom of the Crowd" and "AGI-Assisted Web Browsing/ 'smart fetchers". Batch Automation, can "1-click-solution-ify" a lot of things... It's not technically 'one-click', though, more like a domino-chain of a "one-to-many clicks" in batch-automation hehe. "a Mod Discography" / "Annotated bibliography", (HINT, most of the mod reviewers have a format for their bibliography in the description or blog-accompanying-channel). a Mod Load List Framework etc. (MLLF). You certainly can have a 1-click solution, a 'trickle-BatchAutomation" fetch routine, which will getThat Mod Load List from that particular peer pane. (the real smart ones, if you're on a download-schedule/ tight on data, will allow you to schedule that so as, if you have a lot of mods you need to download, it won't go for that bundle all at once.) Might such things already exist, as a widget pluggin? <--- AGIOpenCog, Github, etc Might such things also be a standard for "NMM User Signature" 'on-mouse-scroll-over Special BBCode"/ Animated GIF Signatures?"
  21. RE Post #5 nyes... that is a possible pathway,
  22. RE Post #1 awesome idea. so, you may wish to check out Cypher2012's Train parts set, and Greek-Rage's "Novelty Doors and Elevators". Greek-Rage's "Revolving door/ lazy susan wall", it's possible to have the reveal that way. so, you anchor a Power Armor Workbench to an Elevator Node/SCOL, and, the power armor bench will move with that node, it is then effectively a kludge'd "co-moving SCOL association" back-end, as per Kediwah's discussion in the Optimization Thread. which can be 'controlled' from a connected in-game terminal. ie, Power On/Button Pushed, elevator goes to floor 1 type setup.
  23. Long form NMM reply inbound. Very much so, I enjoy both of those especially FutureCop L.A.P.D.
  24. RE Post 1 Indeed, I would have prefered the Pipboy or Pipgirl (or robo) pin, the Tricentennial Lapel, a Vault Tec, BoS, or Enclave "mission patch" or 'coin'. and perhaps an Iron-On Tshirt Transfer, and some decals etc. (so I can put some stickers on the Drone League carry case). rather than either the Helmet or the Bag. The Pre-Order process should have been styled as a "Vault-Tec Entry Form" 'metanarrative", which would then ask each customer what options they wanted from the set form. (this would then provide clearer feedback for future preorders). I was anticipating at least an insert/ 'ye-olde style ad' for the Fallout Tabletop Miniatures Game too, perhaps a promotional miniature (such as the Todd Howard miniature, or RoboBrain) "Did you enjoy the Videogame? Why not try the Fallout FORPG league too? Remember to upload your 'screencaps' of your Fallout FORPG Settlements, and sessions to |locale| for your chance to win Atom points, and more!" etc It then has an FORPG stat-sheet, with the QR/QDotler reader barcode-y system, so as you can pivot your role-playing sessions to the online
