Shadow/Snow Outline Glitch

Is anyone else here having a bug with item outlines on shadowed snow? It looks like this: http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g436/arceste/Screenshot88287.png

I have an ATI Radeon HD6950 and have tried various mods and AA settings but nothing seems to work. If anyone else has this problem and knows a fix could they please post it here

I'm having the same problem. The outline shown on my sword and shield only shows up while in first person. The outline goes away while away from a light source.

For now I'll turn off anti-aliasing; that seems to be the only solution for the moment.

They're actually both different problems. I had the blue outlines ages ago and I fixed it by switching AA off and then forcing it through the graphics card. What I'm getting is quite different. I just downloaded Catalyst Control Center 11.11a and it didn't seem to make a difference.

I finally found a fix! Open SkyrimPrefs.ini in My documents-> My games-> Skyrim and then set:

iBlurDeferredShadowMask=0

iShadowMaskQuarter=0

 

It fixed it for me and if anyone else has the same problem, hopefully it will fix it for you too.
