kplusa Posted June 7 Posted June 7 I'm curious about trying them but I wanted to see the opinions of others first since both mods have not been updated in some time.
Spookychomper Posted June 7 Posted June 7 Revised is what I'm using right now and it's good, I've used revival and didn't like it as much. Revised has also been updated most recently.
fraquar Posted June 7 Posted June 7 What did they do to the Vault 114 door - it has 111 markings. If anyone knows where Vault 111 is - it's the sole survivor.
363rdChemicalCompany Posted June 8 Posted June 8 I use mods from both authors and like and respect both authors. That makes it tough. But, IMO, the population of the tunnels that you find in Subway Runner Revival is more plausible than in Subway Runner Revised. Revised features a lot of OP enemies and plausibly any faction that can field that such huge military strenght would not be hiding in tunnels, but instead occupying the nicest spots in the Commonwealth. So my choice is subway runner Revival
363rdChemicalCompany Posted June 8 Posted June 8 PS: If you like exploring Subways consider also : Atomic World : This adds (among many other things in the Commonwealth) subway tunnels under the glowing sea Atoms Storm adds also a lot of subway tunnels under the glowing Sea

What nice spots? The Commonweath is a dump. In just the few minutes of looking at that mod - the tunnels in that mod are the only clean place in the Commonwealth.

Any faction just half that strenght, would be already known far and wide as a major faction. And this means those new subway factions should have taken over the CW. I like and respect the mod author for Revised as much as I like the one for Revival, but I consider revival more immersive and plausible for the reasons outlined above.
fraquar Posted June 9 Posted June 9 They are perfectly safe so long as they stay in the tunnels. Once they leave they can get hit with so many things out there in the Commonweath it would make them dizzy. Tunneling mind carrying molerats, endless artillery barrages (at your discretion of course), Chinese nuclear missile salvos (at your discretion of course), Institute coursers and infiltration of their ranks, Vertibird strafing, wave after wave of Super Mutant Suiciders, exploding cars, etc. Not to mention the mother of all attacks - Preston incessantly hounding them about joining the Minutemen.
RoNin1971 Posted June 10 Posted June 10 Revised, of course. Since it's the only one using some of my new subway tunnel pieces
