Tried to replicate the old UI feel with Stylus extension on Firefox using LummoxJR template as a base.

Adjusted the horizontal spacing between images, made the title text to be on 1 row only and put back the orange.

This is what i got:

I think it's reasonable to say that the community doesn't like this change to the UI. Personally, it looks awful and should be redesigned entirely, preferably just a little touch up of the old UI. Right now it looks like I made it in HTML5 back in 2019 for a High School class. I'm not saying I could make this site, I'm saying it's bland and unimaginative like that of a "for the credit" High School project. It looks like a company about to "modernize" their branding by getting rid of their highly identifiable logo and replacing it with the company name in a basic font. And they can do that because their brand is too large to be hurt by such a change. Similar to how there isn't another site comparable to Nexus that people can flock to when a bad change happens. A part of the community doesn't like this change to varying degrees, though I've yet to see people praise it.

While the UI is being developed and tested out I believe it would be beneficial to the community for there to be an option to keep the old UI, the good UI. Listen to the community on this one, the site doesn't mean anything without the community's support and continued use. It makes it hard to want to use when the community doesn't like how it looks.

I honestly thought I was on the wrong website due to the UI change, it's so much worse than the old one.

Please revert the UI change.

i know you guys don't care because every company/website has to do an awful redesign no one wants or asked for and has to put a gun to people's heads to force them away from the old one, but this new UI sucks i can't wait for DEG or some other website to finally kill the monopoly you people have on modding

One more thought...

Imagine looking at your bank activity statement online, or in printed form.
Look at that nice easy to read list of transactions, deposits, withdrawals etc.

Now imagine one day, you log into your online bank account, and now your account activity is spread all over the page, in rows and columns of tiles, that now takes you much much longer to look at your transactions and reconciling each transaction in order to keep your account in order.
You open your statement your bank mailed you, and it's the same thing, except now, instead of being 1–4 pages of a LIST of transactions, it's now around 25–40 pages of 4–6 tiles per page, of your transactions.

That's going to be tough to sit down with your calculator and go through each individual transaction in an efficient and timely manner.

That sure would be a real pain in the arse, wouldn't it?

Having to look, UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT, with no idea which transactions come before or after the previous one, or the one to the left or right of it.
There's a REASON some things NEED a list.
Browsing mods is one of those things that needs a list.

With a list, you can keep your eyes on the same spot on the screen and scroll...
