Help with vortex

After watching and waiting I got it but when I went to vortex to manager my game it ask where do you what to manual install game files I thought they went in the Data file's man was I wrong ? So can anyone tell me where the file's real go .

I do manual download so don't know if using Vortex puts it in a differant area, but I think it should be the same as mine. Should go in BepinEx - PlugIns. (only the dll files.) Good luck

Sorry but I dont really understand what folder are you looking for, Vortex never asked me to select a manual installation folder.

There are only 2 folders in which mods are stored in Valheim:

• \Users\[YOUR USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\Vortex\valheim\mods
  This is the one Vortex is aware of on it's settings
• \Users\[YOUR USERNAME]\Documents\Steam Folder\steamapps\common\Valheim\BepInEx\plugin
  This is a folder in with some content is created when some mods are deployed, Nexus mods doesnt have to know about this folder, the .dll you download on each mod give the necessary instructions to sort the information there.
