So, this is a new development, but yesterday I started having issues with my game crashing to desktop near Sanctuary and as far as the Red Rocket garage. I am playing with a rather small load order, maybe 64 plugins in total including CC content. As far as I can tell I'm not doing anything to cause it, and LOOT and FO4Edit seem to think I'm not doing anything wrong. I just want to get back to my psychotic raider, please Nexus Mod Community, you're my only hope! I recently switched from NMM to Vortex, and after about twelve hours of troubleshooting, finally have most of my problems ironed out, except for two, book covers not loading, and a persistent crash to desktop upon attempting to enter the temple of Mara in Riften. It doesn't do this elsewhere, I can enter and leave the shops, tavern, keep, dungeon, player home, and ratway with nary a hiccup, but the temple is a no fly zone, which is a pain, considering I had installed Wintersun before I made the switch and decided my side character would be a devout follower of Mara. LOOT and SSEEdit64 says the the only problems are with a couple of patches for cloaks and me needing to re-clean Inigo's file for ITM reports. Attaching the load order as of a few moments ago. Any help would be immensely appreciated, thanks in advance.

So, I decided to start a new skyrim save while I took a break from FO76, and now I have run into my old nemesis, the random CDT. Except this isn't random, it's fairly consistent that it'll crash about a minute in. I only have about 46 active mods installed, and, as far as I'm aware, that includes all the appropriate patches, I'm using NMM, LOOT, and SSEEdit4.0. Those, as well as the base skyrim and skse64 are up to date, so I can't seem to figure out why I can't get it to play for more than a minute before it crashes without warning. Just one second walking along or looking at a menu, the next, desktop. As of writing this, I have updated, cleaned, and optimized my load order, and I have one error, according to LOOT, and that's to do with a new patch and a cloak mod making an old patch redundant, and that should not cause a crash, and I'm attempting to rectify this now. Please, any help would be appreciated, it seems I can't put skyrim down without having to reinstall everything for things to work at all. UPDATE: Upon further investigation (deactivating mods one at a time until I find out what's making it crash) I have discovered the culprit was Rigmor of Bruma, which is one of the new mods I wanted to try, and still would. The game works now that I have removed it, but I would still like to play it and figure out why it, Rigmor, was not working.

So. The long version is, I accidently Uninstalled the Pip-Pad incorrectly, and couldn't get it to reinstall properly. Going back isn't really an option at this moment, since I'm on survival. When I tried reinstalling the Pip-Pad, I realized the MCM wasn't showing up on my pause menu. I double checked that I had the most recent version of F4SE, my game was up to date, and the most recent version of the MCM, and still no dice. The files are in my data folder, they appear to be installed correctly, but I'm still having issues. I will post my load order if need be, but almost everything I have installed are cosmetic changes, a few armor mods, and patches for Horizon. The short version is, I did a dumb, borked my game, and realized something else was wrong. Update: Whatever the issue is, it's effecting everything. I decided to try and test something, and started a new game, using Start Me Up, and the game crashed to desktop about thirty seconds after I picked up the pip-pad in vault 111, as I was scrolling through the menus. I've directly followed Gopher's instructions before and had no issues in the past, but, I, too, am having this exact same issue with NMM, despite it having worked in the past.

I hate to say it, but I'm at a loss. When I launch fallout through Steam, it runs smoothly, except that it thinks nothing exists, not the dlc, none of my mods, nothing. When I run fallout through mod organizer, the controller doesn't work, constantly skipping down as if I'd tapped twice for every single action, and it doesn't recognize that the keyboard is a thing that actually exists. This is the first time I've picked up fallout 4 in almost a year, and I wanted a fresh start, since simply trying to load an old save had the frame rate of a thrown potato. I reinstalled the game, cleaned the files with FO4Edit, made sure my drivers were all up to date, and started with a very light load order, which I will list below. I'm using a wireless xbox one controller as my gamepad, if that helps. TL;DR: My game is in a Schrodinger's Cat state of f***ed up and I don't know what I did wrong. HALP!!1 UPDATE#1: In an attempt to fix this issue on my own, I've encountered a new problem. Trying to reinstall the same mods the old-fashioned way with Nexus Mod Manager has failed. It has, multiple times, failed to connect to the nexus server, which shouldn't matter, and it either can't or won't add mods manually, including, annoyingly, the data for F4SE. So I'm back to square one, as it were. Please help me, I don't know what I'm doing. UPDATE #2: After further testing, switching from Mod Organizer 2 back to Nexus Mod Manager and installing F4SE by simply copying the files from the data folder straight into fallout 4's data folder, the controller problem persisted, and when launching the game using the vanilla launcher, the controller worked properly again, therefore I must conclude that the issue with the controller functionality must have something to do with the script extender, or how I installed it. Which is inconvenient, because I do not have a mouse and keyboard suitable for gaming with, and I had planned on installing a few mods which require the script extender. if possible I would still appreciate help with the various problems I'm having. To answer your questions, here's all the relevant data: Yes, I am running SKSE64, the most recent version to my knowledge. I have no idea how to manually reorganize my load order, which is why I use LOOT. As for the last, I don't think it is memory problems, because I built my system to compensate for the stress of gaming, when I built it. It plays just fine with only minor occasional stutters, and I've been able to run Fallout 3/NV/4, Skyrim SE, Dead Rising 3, Slime Rancher, Subnautica, and Prey with minimal difficulty. I even run both Steam and Skyrim as administrator, run frequent driver updates, and defragment and realign my hard drive multiple times a week. Processor: Intel i5 3.40GHz RAM: 32.0 GB GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 750, but I can't remember how much VRAM. I just got off work and I am tired, which is why I'm rambling. Let me point out, I got all the way to this particular point in this particular quest with no problems, but this is the second save file I've had this EXACT problem with. Last time I uninstalled Skyrim, all my mods, and started a new, 100% vanilla, game fresh. Once satisfied it didn't crash on me, I started another new game with mods, slowly adding on. The problems seem to start after completing Season Unending, no matter what I do before it. Hope this helps.

I've just finished the peace council with the Greybeards, and all of a sudden I'm having issues loading into interior cells, so far, it has crashed in Dragonsreach in Whiterun and Honeyside in Riften. I've had little trouble with other areas, such as Lakeview Manor. I will list my current load order here. *EDIT* I've now gone through my entire load order, uninstalled everything, installed all available updates, removed all mods that wouldn't directly interfere with my current save, reinstalled everything remaining, checked for patches, and reorganized my load order using LOOT, and it still crashes for no reason, in odd places, like out in fields and on loading screens.
