In practice (tried 3 different mods), I'm capped around 150 KB/s.

I very much agree with OP about the problems of no-saves with my real-life time constraints, but I would hate to see the spirit of the mod broken so quickly. Is there some way to create a bedroll similar to the one in New Vegas, or at its crudest the possibility of an inventory item that can "create" the mattresses we can build in settlements? One could even give it significant weight to have it agree in spirit with survival mode (if not in practice).
