  1. As Kastergir said, uninstall old completey 1st, unless the author specifically says its a hot fix or to overwrite the old one. Also, as a general practice, you should put the new esp in the load order as the original.
  2. Sooo..... you're taking personal mod fixing requests? Dude fix my jacked up overly modded game! And make it snappy! :()
  3. Thanks for sharing. For me any order with SSex is a no go though. Just too many other settlement items I want from other mods and it has basically become outdated and redundant now anyway with all of the updates from Homemaker, Alternate Settlements, Snap n' Build, and OCD.
  4. Are you using FCO - Fully Customizable Outfits? I got the invisible hands issue after installing the latest update.
  5. Others said the same thing about the previous beta, "They're only doing it because its a beta. Everything will be fine once the patch comes out of beta." Well they were wrong then and you are wrong now. It is not because they want clean beta testing. It IS because they want more control over mods. Whether monetization is the reasoning behind them wanting more control is actually irrelevant. Allowing Bethesda increased control over mods is overall bad for modding. The lack of oversight and general freedom modding has seen up until now is the main reason it has flourished as much as it has. Bethesda is ignorant of this fact, as proven by the monetized Skyrim mods debacle. I'm all for getting money into the hands of modders (in fact I would almost guarantee that I've donated more to modders than most of, "Pay the modders!" crowd", but allowing Bethesda to control that is a disaster waiting to happen.
  6. For body shapes, depending if clothed bodies are more important than nudes ones, you can get a lot of variety using bodyslide. Just create a different shaped body for multiple different outfits. Then whoever is wearing that outfit will have a different body than others who are wearing different clothes.
  7. Depending on your particular install the below may help. If it doesn't help now it will when it and the other mods are updated to use it. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/6091/?
  8. Don't need to, just want to. Right now it looks like I could sell my gtx 970 for about $275, so if I can find a 980 ti for around $575 I would probably bite. I did try the optimizations you suggested, and they help quite a bit, so that will likely hold me over until 980 prices come down. Thanks for the feedback.
  9. Ah I see, traveling rig. That sounds like an oversized Playstation you carry around. Of course I still want to play on PC because I can mod the game, or what's the point, right? What do you already have now, graphic card wise? Can you still play the game? It may be a while before 980 can go on sale. MSI Gaming GTX 970. Game is very playable on mostly high setting at 1080p, except god rays and shadows. I'm just beginning to see some frame rate drops in certain instance, which I imagine will get worse when I move to 1440p.
  10. Thanks again everyone. I think I will just wait until a gtx 980 goes on sale. My Cooler Master Elite 130 is basically the max size case I can work with (it is actually a little too big, but I can still manage it). I have a separate PC at home that uses an Antec 900 case, but most of my gaming is done when I am away from home with my travelling rig.

  12. I have downloaded a few of the 4k texture replacers just am not using the just yet as I am still playing with all of the settlement mods. Thanks again for your help. Case has good airflow. Temps are all in good range under heavy load (not cool though). Live in FL and use the PC in a room that's pretty much 72 year round. Unfortunately a bigger case isn't an option for, mostly because of transporting. I'm thinking maybe I should just wait for a gtx 980 ti to go on sale in the next couple of months.
  13. Thanks for responding Boombro, I really appreciate it. I would eventually like 4k but the monitor I just bought is only 1440p, so it would likely be next year before I make the move to 4k. FO4 is by far the most graphically intense game I play. Most other games in my library are strategy/simulation type games.
  14. My apologies if this is the wrong forum. I'm feeling it is time to upgrade my gpu and was hoping to get some input. I'm starting to see some frame rate drops at 1080p especially inside my custom buildings that use a lot of lights and objects. I just purchased a 1440p monitor and feel that a gpu upgrade will almost be a necessity once it arrives. Since my case is a mini ITX I have shied away from Radeon cards, but there is currently a really good deal on a 8GB XFX Radeon R9 390X for $359.99 after rebate. Which is way cheaper than any GTX 980 right now. What do you guys think? Current rig Cooler Master Elite 130 Intel Core i5 4690K 16GB PC3-14900 MSI GTX 970 4GBCurrent Load Order
  15. I finally just removed SSex and that solved nearly all of my menu problems. Using Settlement Keywords, DD's mods, Homemaker, Snap N' Build, Alternate Settlements, and Alternate Furniture covers pretty much everything I need anyway, so I no longer have a need for SSex. I would suggest removing SSex until the author gets on board with Settlement Keywords.
  16. Also depends heavily on what other mods you are using. I have some issues using all 4 plus DDproduction83's mods, Crafting Workbenches and Armorsmith.
  17. Sad that some people have such limited higher reasoning skills or low self esteem, they have to resort to insulting people they don't even know anything about on an anonomous internet forum. (No offense)
  18. Has anyone actually asked the Vagina Innies author to simply change the images it displays?
  19. There is already a scrap dead things mod. There are also a lot of HR textures, and I'm pretty sure there is a fairly new survival mod. You must not be looking carefully enough. Most additional armors and weapons will need to wait for CK, though you should already know that. If you don't like the magnitude of adult content on Nexus you could always just go to other mod sources like Bethesda's own site or Steam Workshop. Except they basically suck because they try to over control something that should be allowed to thrive openly like Nexus does. The mods you mention are there, but some are not in a very workable form. For example, to have to use console commands for a mod to work is a work around. Some of the ways to scrap bodies and items causes issues with items disappearing that you want to stay. Many of the HR texture mods are not complete. I am sure in time these issues will be fixed with the proper modding tools. But back on topic.... mature mods. If I ran the nexus I would just have more tags like "over 18" or "sexual content" and these mods would not be allowed on the featured page, or control the content and make the creators of the mod put up non adult pictures for showcasing on the featured page. They can have adult oriented pictures, but I think those should be visible only if you open the page of the mod. Once you click the mod there should be a popup saying mature content only continue if over 18. I am approaching this from the point of view of a parent who uses these mods and has kids in the house or even as an admin of the site. Really, the popup when you click the mod stating "the content is adult" along with not allowing such vulgar or mature images on the featured or front page would solve these issues. As has been stated multiple times, there is already an option to disable adult content. You could also make your default landing page, the New Recently page which doesn't show pictures, or Latest Files which shows small thumbnails. If none of those options work for you then either stick to other sites or donate enough money to Nexus to pay for coding in the specific controls you want.
  20. Agreed. Someone made a thread like this and someone basically said, "If you don't like a screen full of vaginas and boobs, you're obviously not over 18 years old and should not be playing a mature game." Mature means more than bouncing tits. Mature can mean adult concepts without being adult porn. Mature includes addressing issues of the nastier side of humans - stuff you don't want to expose kids to. You don't want 12 year old Little Timmy playing a quest-line where you break down a slave trade ring where they sell off slaves 'past their use-by' for medical experiments, for example. Problematic when my entire front page is VAGINA PUBIC HAIR BOOBS! Yes, I have the mature content allowed - for stuff like body textures and nude bodies, realistic stuff relating to the human bodies. Not for thong-armor, latex vaultsuits and strap-on Dildos. I didn't expect all of the "Top Mods" to just be screenshots of naked (or near-naked) women. I get it, they're popular. But maybe NOT have my entire splash page filled with CBBE armor and tits? Thing is, I like some of those 'mature' mods. As in, I like being able to adjust the figure of my character to something that suits the world, giving her a texture that implies that she's actually got some muscles under there, instead of being made of clay. I like improved textures. I'm eagerly waiting for when I can give my character scars and marks from fighting through the Wasteland. I just wish that maybe there could be some sort of way that stops MATURE flagged stuff landing on the splash page, so I don't feel like I've accidentally landed on RedTube when I check for mods. You should probably just stick to Steam Workshop or Bethesda's mod hosting site. Would pretty much completely solve your problem.

  22. I have seen the same on multiple occasions.
  23. That was up to the creators; I thought it was a great idea. You pay for the content you wanted to pay for, and you got see the true motives of some of the modders. They learned to code somewhere and so can the rest of us. As for creating rumors & crying about losing everything.. The game releases without official mod support, but some are put out anyways. A lot of them are really just shortcuts for existing console commands. An update to the game is released, as they tend to, and people go bat-s*** crazy! Now imagine if all of the complaints, whining and rumors repeated themselves everytime someone's save is messed up (that incorporates modified game values), the forums wouldn't be a happy-looking place. Bottom Line, Mods are not Officially supported yet. Anything a user adds to the game is their risk, not the developers. If something goes horribly wrong with only vanilla content, then yes, ask for help. But don't hack up your game, then wonder why it's broken. Many of us thought paid mods where a good idea, except if someone other the modding community had control over. I do not understand how any player doesn't see the value in allowing mod development to progress as rapidly as possible. If you compare the states of FO:NV and Skyrim pre-mods to their states after modding for them had become significantly advanced. It becomes apparent that stifling, discouraging, or limiting modding and mod development is not a positive thing from the players' perspective. Not "officially" supporting mods is one thing, discouraging them is something entirely different. If that is indeed the case. We're not talking about updates to the game that broke some mods. We're talking about a change to the launcher that attempts to completely disable mods. This happens to not be the Bethesda forums, so no one here is asking for help from Bethesda regarding their broken mods.
  24. Maybe I'm being overly skeptical, but considering many were wrong about it only being present inthe beta for testing integrity, I'd say there is at least some evidence that suggests some skepticism is warranted.
