Back when i played in 2013 i had a dagger with a handle shaped like a woman. Anyone know what mod that was? I cant find it and it was a cool dagger with decent damage.

It wouldnt let me select a non C drive for my final directory, I guess since i didnt run the install as administrator? So I had to uninstall everything and then I go in to pick the directory but the option isnt even there in the i nstalled program. So you can only pick the new directory during install? The reason this is an issue is that I keep NMM and mods on my data drive and not on my SSD.

What a pain. All this makes me sad and not want to play the game. Or at least wait a couple years till no more patches, then play.... Why do you think they made it so mode unfriendly? Is it that consoles dominate and pc is a small percentage of profit? You cant use NMM and have to assume your game will break and have to restart on each patch I guess?

Or can I use oblivion mod manager to change the order of mod loading?

Yeah, my saves wont load with SKSE, but I can load the old fashioned way at least.

Ahh, I just figured it out, if I increased my shadow distance exterior setting to a high number, like 7500, the issue goes away. I set it to 10k and that workd, now I dropped it to 7500 for now.

Its all over the place and often through shadows. I posted this video put its hard to see, but you can see it if you look close.

Something that would calculate these for you based on your gear/racials/etc would rock. Even a skyui addon or something. Defense is shown when you look in the apparel section of your inventory. Then use this formula to convert the number to the actual percentage: Damage reduction percentage = (displayed armor rating + hidden armor rating) x 0.12% The hidden armor rating is an extra +25 per armor piece worn (helmet, boots, gloves, body). To get your resistances, simply add the numbers shown under Active Effects in the Magic menu. I have a 1 month sub and was wanting to get a lifetime but I had noticed the website lagging a lot during peak hours so wasn't sure about investing long term. At least this is some reasurance that help is on the way.

Or do I install over the existing one? If I have a bunch of mods installed can I install the NMM and not have problems?

I miss the support for the hide helm mod. Would be awesome if someone picked it up to help keep it going or make a new one. I usually just want to hide 1 or 2 helms, not all helms. As far as I know there is no up to date helm hide mod where you can choose the helm/hood.

Here is my first rough draft attempt at actually scribbling out a back story. Usually I just think a little bit about it in my head then play a game. This time I wanted to get a tiny bit more detailed. What do you think of this? Any suggestions or comments are welcome. Just getting started, this may be all I need to keep me immersed with this next play through (my second). My dad was a traveling Breton bard. While in solitude he seduced my mother with his silver tongue and she became pregnant. She was an imperial and an arcane maester for imperials stationed in Solitude. Maesters aren't allowed to have kids she was going to abort me, but he convinced her to have the baby. In return, he had to promise to raise me. Somehow he did raise me and we traveled together. He would enter archery tournaments to try to make some extra coin but rarely won anything. At least his bow was good for small game and he taught me how to use it when I was old enough. A bow and blade were handy on the road. Besides women, his weakness was stealing (another good reason to keep on the move). He got greedy and tried to steal from a vampire which ended up killing him. Distraught, alone and somewhat curious about my mother, since we never traveled back to Solitude, I worked my way back to Solitude to find her. I did find her and she crumbled under years of regret for not helping raise me, accepting me and helping get on my feet in solitude. She helped me find some of my arcane skills during our brief year together. She was also killed during the Nord raid on Solitude when they killed the king. Distraught yet again, I decided to go back to my Breton homeland (where we had traveled the most) and try to make a yet another new life. Maybe be bard like dad, I wasn't sure. Unfortunately I was in the wrong place at the wrong time and captured while trying to cross the border out of Skyrim. The imperials captured the nord leaders nearby and assumed I was part of their band. Then the game starts. Being captured and going through the game beginning fuels a fire in me to seek revenge against the Nords for killing my mother and indirectly getting me involved with the fiasco at Helgen. Themes for immersion choices in game: Hates Nords, Hates Vampires, Has dad's gene and likes to steal, like gold, likes bling, but feels guilty about it. Luckily lots of Nords around to steal from and no guilt stealing from them :)

This is for master mode without cheats. What armor should I wear with this build. It is already using a lot of points so can I get by with cloth armor? Or am I going to be finding light armor that will make me really want to use it for its stats? Is it worth giving up something else like enchanting to get light armor when I really dont plan to get hit much? I want the conjure to help when i get overrun or on bosses.

Thanks. I was thinking of playing through on the hardest mode anyhow, which is nightmare? I cant remember. Anyhow, if I play on the hardest setting, will Quests and Legends be too hard? And I can install all those from the start and not mess up the main story?

Thinking about playing through the whole DAO through end of DDA2 for my second time. So, I was wondering, what story content addon mods do you suggest that are completely stable and bug free? Stuff that would supplement the original campaign. Also, what stand alone campaigns are there, if any? Where you start fresh in a new story?

If anyone gets bored enough to make one. Both with and without the mod manager cause I just cant seem to get it all to work :(

In addition it would be cool if you could just make the hotkeys f5 for quicksave and f9 for quickload like sooo many other games out there, except this one....

After the campaigns are done and you've killed 40 dragons it gets kind of old, is there a way to make them stop attacking so i can do some questing in peace? Its really annoying.

Ive tried everything i can find but nothing works.
