  1. That's pretty kewl. Thanks. I will consider it. Thanks. I use console commands a lot anyways. I will check into this. I was thinking the same thing. Just re-configure a bit, expand sandboxing and call it a day. Thanks for all your input guys. It helps. May all your playthroughs be smooth.
  2. Doing build at Starlight. Using "Scrap Everything" to clear. The diner/projector and screen are intact, just cleaned of debris and trash, etc. No markers noted. Using elevated wood plank floors with pre-fabs. The problem is; I want the NPC's to STAY ON THE PLATFORM. I have porch railings and guard rails completely surrounding the perimeter and still they manage to all congregate in the middle (on the ground) of the drive-in. And then they just stand there until I put up some stairs so they can GET BACK UP. Screenshot shows temporary runway which helped for awhile. They would go down the stairs, hit the end and come back up. Now, I fast travel and come back to find them all in a just standing group under the platform or in front of the diner. Is there a cure? I'm thinking, probably wrongly, that because I'm using wood plank floors they just pop through them. I noticed placing a "Blue Team" arena platform, on a wood plank floor square which was over the depression where the water was, it sank through and could only be placed where the ground was closer. If I change the wood floor to concrete on the raised platform, would that work since it's "thicker"? I could really use some advice guys. Thanks.
  3. @Blitzen has, for me, the best solution. All I wanted was larger font so I just used "iConsoleTextSize=30" and that worked. Don't forget to put "[Menu]" above that. If you have NVidia GeForce and you change your settings, I found it rewrites Skyrim.ini so you have to input the change to your console again. Thanks @Blitzen, good on ya.
  4. @Algabar ATM I'm not using any follower mods so, yup it's vanilla. I've never tried Nether's or "Dress up Lovers" but due to your recommendation I will certainly give them a try. So, Thank you for that. Sincerely appreciate the reply.
  5. Did you try looking here? C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Users
  6. I know the great "Hunting Bow Bug" is 10 years old. I was just hoping by this time there was a patch or a fix for it. Using console commands (removeitem 10E2DD, GetItemCount >>> 0.00) does not work. I have "Redressed.esp that I made to clear my followers inventory and tweak a few points. I have played around extensively in CK, changing and deleting things with no luck. So, is there a fix for this? Thanks
  7. @varkonasnorse Thank you so much. I will add that and see if it helps. I was beginning to wonder if it was possible to work on other mods through CK. I do have a Bethesda account and was logged in it was just being it's usual PITA...lol. Thanks again for the invaluable info.
  8. The easiest, IMO, would be to go with a follower mod as @anjenthedog suggested. Do not use the old AFT as it is VERY buggy. I would suggest using the Immersive AFT which was updated recently. I'm not crazy about EFF either although some people swear by it. Crap shoot either way as both can be buggy at times. Option B if you have the nerve and the skills is to use SEEEdit or CK if you can get into it. CK would be easier as there is a factions tab and you can play around with the AI packages regarding things like sandboxing etc. I'm not that familiar with making changes through SSEEdit. You can edit a line by right clicking and affirming that yes you are sure you want to do that. What few I've tried have been marginally successful but you're welcome to give it a shot. Otherwise I would say be content with what you have and accept not having that particular NPC as a follower. Good luck.
  9. Thank you for the link. Those are some truly unique and beautiful pieces of jewelry.
  10. If you are using Vortex, look up top to the icon that says "Configure FNIS". Patches and XPMSE will not "stick" unless you save them in the config. Hope that helps.
  11. Like the title says, when I go into CK to alter/look at a mod, I get this "Too many Masterfiiles" error and it stops loading. I have looked in forums and on YouTube to find out what I'm doing wrong and am still stuck. Generally, I check the Skyrim and Update boxes and set the .esp I want to use as my active file and click O.K.. It's been awhile since I've done anything with CK and I used to be able to get in with no problem. I understand there have been a few updates since then. After the first time it comes back with "too many Masterfiles", I hit data again to see what Masterfiles are open and it's usually all the Skyrim and DLC's. I uncheck all but Skyrim, keeping the one file I want to see as my "active" and again... "Too many damn Masterfiles". I know it's gotta be something incredibly stupid and simple but I've tried just about everything I can think of. Help!
  12. @anjenthedog Thanks, I appreciate your the reply. I tried "resting" a couple days and that only helped on two occasions. After doing more research and stripping my characters profile down to the basics I finally had to scrap it and start a new one. Still don't know what corrupted the save files/mechanism. Anyway, thanks again for trying.
  13. ATM I'm having the same problem of CTD when saving. I've also uninstalled mods, though I have quite a bit fewer than the Op, with limited success. I'll have a successful save in say, Windhelm, then fast travel to Whiterun and CTD upon trying to save without doing anything more than fast traveling. 14. Thanks Vexi89. The "Load Accelerator" is basically for SSD drives. I still have an HDD drive so it wouldn't do much. Your link DID point me in the right direction and the YouTube link at the bottom of that mod was VERY helpful. I'll add it here in case somebody else could use it. When I checked performance in Task Manager, my cache was already at 8.5 GB. I did some serious cleaning and tweaking and things have improved immensely. So, thanks again for your help. 15. You may not be completely uninstalling (removing) your mods. When you click the "Remove" button, it not only asks if you want to delete the mod, there's a box on the left which asks "delete/remove archive". make sure that is checked. Otherwise it can leave a footprint. Hope this helps.
