Mod request: Cyclops Torpedoes
RLTheCoolStudios replied to Saphira123456789's topic in Subnautica's Subnautica
Hello, Yes, there is a mod called Cyclops Torpedoes that allows the Cyclops to be equipped with torpedo launchers similar to those on the Seamoth and Prawn Suit. This mod adds a module that lets you load torpedoes into the Cyclops' decoy tube and fire them by pressing the "F" key while using the external cameras. To use this mod, you will need the MoreCyclopsUpgrades (Purple Edition) mod, which is a required dependency. Please note that using mods can affect game stability. It’s recommended to back up your progress before installing any new mods. Happy modding and enjoy your underwater exploration! -
reqest Mod request: Stat Modifiers
RLTheCoolStudios replied to Dorogoci's topic in Subnautica's Subnautica
Hello, There is currently no specific mod that directly reduces base values such as speed, damage, health, or maximum depth for equipment and vehicles in Subnautica. However, you can consider the following approaches to achieve this goal: Modifying game configuration files: Some game parameters can be adjusted by editing the configuration files. However, this method requires a good understanding of the game’s file structure and may cause issues if not done properly. Important Notes: Mod compatibility: Ensure that any mod you create or install is compatible with the current version of Subnautica and with other mods you're using. Back up your data: Before modifying game files or installing new mods, it’s highly recommended to back up your save data to prevent any loss in case of issues. Good luck with your modding project, and enjoy your underwater exploration! -
Mod Update Request Power Modifier
RLTheCoolStudios replied to ekphoto's topic in Subnautica's Subnautica
Hello, The Power Modifier (Power Order) mod has been updated to be compatible with BepInEx and Nautilus. Version 2.0.0 of this mod includes this compatibility as well as the PowerOrder functionality. If you’re having trouble extracting the mod, it’s recommended to use the latest version of 7-Zip, a free and open-source archive manager. Outdated versions of 7-Zip may cause extraction errors. (Especially if you’re not using Windows) To install the mod, make sure you have BepInEx installed. You can find a preconfigured BepInEx pack for Subnautica on GitHub. Happy modding and enjoy your underwater exploration! -
Hello, It seems that the Building Tweaks mod, which allowed the removal of most building restrictions in Subnautica, is no longer available on Nexus Mods. This mod indeed allowed placing elements like ladders in front of large room partitions. Potential solution: Use alternative mods: The "Building Tweaks" mod (Bepinex and Nautilus) offers similar features for Subnautica. For Subnautica: Below Zero, the "Building Tweaks" mod (Bepinex) could be useful. Recommendation: Check mod compatibility: Make sure that the mods you are using are compatible with each other to avoid conflicts. Happy modding and enjoy your underwater exploration!

Creature Aggression Issue
RLTheCoolStudios replied to TimeeZonee1's topic in Subnautica's Subnautica
Hello, It’s possible that some mods are interacting unexpectedly with creature behavior, even those intended to improve quality of life without altering gameplay. To resolve this issue, here are a few suggestions: Check mods related to AI or creature behavior: Some mods might alter creature aggression or how they react to players. Try disabling these mods to see if the problem persists. Reduce aggression through in-game settings: There are sometimes options in the game settings that allow you to reduce creature aggression. While it may not be very precise, it could help. Test mods one by one: Disable all mods, then re-enable them one at a time to identify the one causing the issue. This will help you pinpoint the mod that modifies creature behavior. Happy gaming and enjoy your underwater exploration! -
Is it possible... no It WILL be possible
RLTheCoolStudios replied to DoctorBlue5's topic in Subnautica's Subnautica
Hello, There is no mod that automatically makes legacy mods compatible with Subnautica 2.0. The 2.0 update introduced major changes, making many mods obsolete. However, here are some solutions that can help you use these mods: 1. Rollback to the Legacy version of Subnautica: Steam offers the option to revert to the previous version of the game, called "Legacy." Here’s how to do it: Right-click on Subnautica in your Steam library and select "Properties." Go to the "Betas" tab. In the drop-down menu, choose "legacy" to install the previous version of the game. This method will allow you to use mods designed for the Legacy version. 2. Use mods updated for version 2.0: Some mod creators have updated their mods to be compatible with version 2.0. You can find these updated versions on sites like Nexus Mods. For example, the "VersionChecker" mod has been updated to work with version 2.0. 3. Wait for mod updates: Many modders are actively working to adapt their mods to version 2.0. It’s a good idea to follow forums and mod pages to stay informed about updates. In summary, there is no universal solution to make all legacy mods compatible with Subnautica 2.0. The best approach is to either roll back to the Legacy version to use older mods or wait for mod creators to update their mods for version 2.0. Happy gaming and enjoy your underwater exploration! -

Mod request (Standalone Wall with energy-support)
RLTheCoolStudios replied to Pazvanti1985's topic in Subnautica's Subnautica
Hello, It seems that you are looking for a mod that allows you to create a self-sustaining wall capable of powering nearby devices like Fabricators and other equipment. Currently, there is no specific mod that offers this exact functionality. Potential solutions: Using the "Energy Solutions" mod: The "Energy Solutions" mod introduces machines for energy production, storage, and transmission. It allows you to gather energy from the environment using turbines, solar panels, and other devices, which could meet your need for a self-sustaining power source for your structures. Creating a custom structure with "Structure Helper": The "Structure Helper" mod makes it easier to build custom structures using existing game elements. While it doesn't directly provide a solution for a self-powered wall, it could allow you to design specific structures tailored to your needs. Happy modding and enjoy your underwater exploration! -
Hello, It seems that the installation of certain mods is causing issues with the fabricator station and diving equipment in Subnautica. Here are a few steps to help identify and resolve the problem: Analyze installed mods: Some mods may interfere with the fabricator system and equipment. For example, the "Armor Suit" mod modifies crafting recipes, which may conflict with other mods that also alter these recipes. Disable suspected mods: Start by disabling mods that modify crafting recipes or the fabricator station interface, such as "Armor Suit," "More Modified Items," "Crafting from nearby container, 8 Quickslots," and "EasyCraft." Test the game after disabling each mod to identify which one is causing the issue. Check mod dependencies: Some mods require specific frameworks to function properly. For instance, the "Bag equipment" mod requires SMLHelper 2.9.4. Ensure that all required dependencies are installed and up to date. Consult forums and communities: If the problem persists, check the Subnautica community forums, such as Reddit or Nexus Mods. Other players may have encountered the same issue and can offer additional solutions. Use a mod management tool: Tools like the "Subnautica Mod Manager" can help manage mods and identify potential conflicts. Make sure all your mods are compatible with each other and the current version of the game. By following these steps, you should be able to identify and resolve the issue related to the fabricator station and diving equipment in Subnautica. Happy gaming and enjoy your underwater exploration!

Bring "Control Room" from BZ
RLTheCoolStudios replied to RedKiter's topic in Subnautica's Subnautica
Hello, The Control Room is an exterior base module exclusive to Subnautica: Below Zero. It allows players to manage various aspects of their base, such as customizing the name and colors, as well as monitoring structural integrity and energy consumption. Subnautica Wiki Currently, there is no mod available that adds the Control Room from Below Zero to the base game Subnautica. The differences in gameplay mechanics and structures between the two titles make it difficult to directly integrate certain elements. However, the modding community is active, and it is possible that such mods may appear in the future... -
Hello, (mod only) It seems that the installation of certain mods has caused issues in your game, such as vehicles sinking into the void and the inability to destroy structures. Here are some steps you can follow to try and resolve these problems: 1. Identify the Problematic Mod: Some mods may interfere with the normal functioning of the game. For example, a user reported that the "Vanilla Expanded V2.0 (Nautilus)" mod was causing issues after its installation. It's possible that other mods may have similar effects. 2. Disable Mods: To identify the mod causing the issue, try disabling all mods and then re-enable them one by one, testing the game after each activation. This will help you pinpoint which mod is causing the malfunction. 3. Update or Replace the Problematic Mods: Once the problematic mod is identified, check if there is an updated version or an alternative mod that provides the same functionality without causing issues. For example, if the "Base Deconstruct Fix" mod is causing problems, consider replacing it with a version compatible with BepInEx. 4. Check Mod Dependencies: Some mods require specific frameworks or libraries to function properly. Make sure that all the required dependencies are installed and up-to-date. Enjoy the game and happy underwater exploration!

Request Mod Request: Thermal Plant Placement
RLTheCoolStudios replied to Kahuu16's topic in Subnautica's Subnautica
Hello, Placing thermal plants in Subnautica can be tricky, especially after the 2.0 update. Several players have reported similar issues regarding the placement detection of thermal plants. Community-Suggested Solutions: Use Foundations: Some players recommend placing a foundation on the heat source first and then installing the thermal plants on top. This may make placement easier and stabilize the connection. (However, this doesn’t seem to work for you.) Check Power Connections: Make sure the power lines are correctly connected between the thermal plants and your base. A faulty connection can prevent the plant from supplying energy efficiently. (GameFAQs) Update or Install Mods: While there isn't a specific mod to ease the placement restrictions of thermal plants, mods like "Tweaks and Fixes" offer various improvements and fixes for the game. You can check out this mod here: (Nexus Mods link) How to Install BepInEx and Mods: Install BepInEx: BepInEx is a framework required to run certain Subnautica mods. You can download it and follow the installation instructions on its dedicated page. Install the "Tweaks and Fixes" Mod: Once BepInEx is installed, download the Tweaks and Fixes mod from the provided link. Place the mod file into the BepInEx\plugins folder in your Subnautica directory. If these solutions don’t fix the issue, it’s recommended to report the bug to the developers via the official forums or the platform where you purchased the game. This can help speed up a fix in a future update. Enjoy the game and happy underwater exploration!
