Oh it's ok, i wasnt expecting too many responses since i assumed from the lack of information online that it's a rare issue. I'm super grateful for your response and suggestion though, but it seems to be a problem with all of the paints, even vanilla ones. I just decided to switch over to Worsin's Power Armor Garage, since for some reason the issue doesnt affect Power Armor pieces made with that mod. I still hope i can figure out what the issue is though, it's really troubling.

Im having a puzzling issue with my power armor. The paint seems to disappear whenever i exit and reload the game, however as soon as i enter the armor or go into the crafting station it reappears. I've looked everywhere online for a solution and come up empty. I could really use some help figuring out the problem, thanks. Edit: The problem seems to occur whenever i select any model over A. With the Model A, the paint seems to remain on, but anything else and it reverts back to a "Vanilla" paint job.

Thanks for the responses guys, but my game was screwed, i had to go back to the previous version of the game. Steam is being kept offline, and im only launching it from my "Downpatched Skyrim" folder outside of Steam. Steam still needs to be "open" before it will launch because i purchased the game through there, but as long as its kept offline, i should be fine right?

You can always revert to the previous version, it's a tricky process, but this worked for me. I ran into this very issue last night. Just a quick question, my Steam downloaded the update while i was gone, but i haven't actually launched the game through Steam. Does that mean my Skyrim is still screwed or can i still backup my skyrim to avoid it? here's a screenshot.
